Let's Pair your Aura Air device

Android users may encounter this message throughout the pairing process. If this pop-up shows up, click keep WiFi connection, if not, continue to step 5.

Common Issues with Pairing:
The Aura device, like many IoT devices, requires a WiFi network of 2.4 GHz, one that does not have a firewall enabled, and a WiFi network that is in range.
A device that is having an issue connecting to your local WiFi network could be because of a few different issues:
- The router is too far away from the device.
- The network is not 2.4 GHz.
- A firewall is enabled.
The best way to verify your device's connectivity is to connect it to a Mobile Hotspot (on a different mobile than the one being used with the app).
If the device is able to pair with a Mobile Hotspot, the issue is with your local wifi network (Likely a firewall or network compatibility issue).
Start from the top:
Step 1: Forget Aura-XXX on your mobile network list (by clicking on it and then clicking forget)
Step 2: Unplug your Aura device from the electricity.
Step 3: Click the Setup button for 13 seconds or until the LED is fast blinking green and wait for the following LED sequence:
- Fast Blinking Green
- Breathing Green
- Release the setup button.
Step 4: Start the installation process of the device from the beginning.
Mobile HotSpot Connectivity
Another way to connect your Aura Air device is to pair it to a Mobile Hotspot (on a different mobile than the one being used with the app). This will provide a temporary solution for connectivity.
Note: Once the hotspot is no longer available, the unit will not publish up-to-date data in the app.
Connectivity Failure
Step 1: Open your WiFi network on your mobile phone, Turn OFF the WiFi and turn it back ON.
Step 2: Go back to Step 5
Wrong WiFi Password Error (First-time user, no previous pairings)
Step 1: Open your WiFi network on your mobile phone, Turn OFF the WiFi and turn it back ON.
Step 2: Go back to Step 5
